The AAPACN Impact Award is presented to a member whose actions over the course of their career have had a positive impact on the nursing profession, the post-acute care field, and/or AAPACN.

AAPACN is proud to celebrate the work of long-term and post-acute care professionals who embody the vision and values of AAPACN. The winner of the AAPACN Impact Award will be honored at the AAPACN 2024 Conference, April 10-13, 2024, in Hollywood Beach, FL.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current AAPACN member in good standing.
  • May not have won this award in the past.
  • Must be a resident of the United States.
  • Applications must be submitted by midnight MT Nov. 10, 2023.

Award Inclusions:

  • The recipient of this award will receive a complimentary registration to the AAPACN 2024 Conference, two-night hotel stay at the conference hotel, and a $500 travel stipend.

  • Watch this short video with helpful tips for completing the application.
  • Complete the application form using the link below. You will be required to provide answers to the following two questions:
    1. Describe the positive impact you (or the nominee) have had on the nursing profession, the post-acute care field, and/or AAPACN.
    2. Provide examples of your contributions and achievements at a corporate, consulting, national, and/or association level.
  • We highly encourage the submission of recommendations, particularly for those submitting their own nominations. Please forward this recommendation form to your supervisor, administrator, mentor, or peers.
  • Include name and facility in the requested fields, but please omit from the other questions, as the application will be made anonymous. Please use “the candidate” and “at our facility” when describing the candidate and their work.

The nomination period for the 2024 Awards and Scholarships has concluded. You’ll have the opportunity to submit nominations again next year.
