Interactive Education With Live Q&A
*Curriculum updated to include the Oct. 1, 2024, MDS changes.
RAC-CT® Live is a four-day virtual workshop through Zoom that will provide an interactive format for the same education and certification program recognized as the gold-standard in resident assessment in the long-term care nursing profession. AAPACN Master Teacher, Jennifer LaBay, will lead participants through the curriculum developed to increase knowledge of clinical assessment and care planning, completion of the MDS, the regulations surrounding the RAI/MDS process, and managing the PDPM.
Following this workshop, you will be able to:
- Navigate tough coding dilemmas with the most current coding and regulatory knowledge
- Recover reimbursement and avoid overpayment by knowing where to find important MDS data
- Proactively solve quality pitfalls by recognizing the clues reflected in your Quality Measure and Five-Star reports
- Uncover unique solutions that honor resident preference by synthesizing MDS, CAA, and care plan data into individualized interventions
Registration for this live virtual workshop includes participation all four days, plus access to the digital materials used during the workshop and access to the ten certification exams. We suggest downloading and saving each PDF to a device of your choice. Although not required, you may print the PDFs at your own expense. If you decide to print your materials, please remember that changes and updates are continually incorporated into the digital materials.
Jennifer LaBay has no conflicts of interest to disclose.
Registration for RAC-CT Live will be open through Sept. 23.
The RAC-CT certification program is designed for post-acute care professionals with at least six months of experience with the MDS/RAI process. To earn the RAC-CT credential, you must successfully complete the 10 associated final certification exams with a score of 80% or higher. You will have one year from the date of the workshop before the exams expire. There are three exam attempts per course. Recertification is required every two years.
