States requiring the Optional State Assessment (OSA) beginning Oct. 1, 2023, will continue to code bed mobility, transfer, eating, and toileting activities of daily living (ADLs). During the Section G Essentials on-demand workshop, AAPACN Curriculum Development Specialist and Master Teacher, Jennifer LaBay, will provide line-by-line training for these section G late-loss ADLs to accurately code the MDS using the coding instructions and the Rule of Three.
