During this 75-minute webinar, AAPACN Curriculum Development Specialists, Denise Winzeler, RN, BSN, LNHA, DNS-MT, QCP-MT, and Jessie McGill, RN, BSN, RAC-MT, RAC-MTA, will discuss how to develop a successful behavior management program by establishing systematic approaches to assess residents with behaviors, complete sound documentation, accurately code the MDS, develop a care plan to implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate for effectiveness.

After participating in this webinar, learners will be able to:

  • Recognize the connection between coding behaviors accurately on the MDS assessment and the development of appropriate care plan interventions
  • Identify the steps to person-centered care for residents with behaviors
  • Implement a systematic approach to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
