In addition to the substantial MDS changes that occurred Oct. 1, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) also recently issued several changes to the MDS 3.0 Quality Measures (QMs) and the Five-Star Quality Rating System. During this 60-minute webinar, AAPACN Curriculum Development Specialist, Jessie McGill, RN, BSN, RAC-MT, RAC-MTA, will delineate the changes to the MDS 3.0 QMs, discuss the timeline of the Five-Star freeze, and explain how nurse assessment coordinators and interdisciplinary teams can continue to monitor quality outcomes.
