AAPACN Awards for Post-Acute Care Professionals
AAPACN is proud to celebrate the work of post-acute care professionals who embody the vision and values of AAPACN. We reward the work of post-acute care nurses and professionals in the following categories. Learn more about each award below, and then nominate a peer or yourself. Applications are closed.
Integrity – Award presented to a member whose actions and behaviors display the highest level of leadership and ethics in their work in post-acute care. The successful candidate will exhibit a firm adherence to a code of values and a history of modeling exemplary behavior to staff and/or peers.
Innovation – Award presented to a member whose actions and behaviors promote best practices and innovative solutions within their facility or the post-acute care profession. The successful candidate will express an attitude of viewing change as opportunity and an ability to put new ideas into action.
Inspiration – Award presented to a member who is a leader or aspiring leader and first-time conference attendee. The successful candidate will explain how they foster the success of others or why they aspire to be a leader who fosters the success of their peers or staff within the facility or the post-acute care field.
Influence – Award presented to a member whose actions and attitude encourage the highest level of performance from staff or peers in their jobs and the care of residents. The successful candidate will describe the positive effect they have on others within their facility.
Impact – Award presented to a member whose actions over the course of their career have positively affected the profession, the post-acute care field, and/or the association. The successful candidate will note their contributions and achievements at a corporate, consulting, national, and/or association level.
Winners will receive a complimentary conference registration and travel stipend.
