RAC-CT Scholarship
Funded by AAPACN Founding Member, Sheryl Buckholtz, the RAC-CT® Scholarship awards a complimentary registration for AAPACN’s RAC-CT education and certification program to a professional currently working in a post-acute care facility. The recipient may select either the self-guided online + PDF 10-course set format or participate in an AAPACN-hosted RAC-CT workshop. The AAPACN Education Foundation will recognize the winner of the scholarship at the AAPACN Annual Conference.
Requirements:
- The recipient of this scholarship must work full-time in a post-acute care facility, as a nurse or therapist. Consultants do not qualify for this award.
- The recipient of this scholarship must have at least six months experience working with the MDS/RAI process or have previously taken AAPACN’s MDS Essentials education program.
- The recipient of this scholarship must be a resident of the United States.
- Applicant may not have previously earned a RAC-CT that is now expired.
- The application deadline for the 2025 scholarship is Nov. 8, 2024.
Scholarship Inclusions:
- The recipient of this scholarship will receive a complementary registration for the RAC-CT education and certification program, either in the online + PDF 10-course set format or an AAPACN-hosted RAC-CT workshop.
- For the recipient of this scholarship to earn the RAC-CT credential, he/she must successfully complete the 10 associated final exams with a score of 80% or higher.
