Share Your Expertise at the AAPACN 2025 Conference

We are looking for post-acute care experts and leaders who can demonstrate improvements in quality outcomes, share compliance processes and best practices, and provide support for strong staffing models that can improve retention and recruitment. Apply to present at the AAPACN 2025 Conference, April 22 – 25 in Louisville, KY, and share your experience and expertise to help your peers navigate the ever-changing world of post-acute care.

Call for Presentations

The deadline to submit an application is Friday, Sept. 27!

Selected speakers will receive 50% off conference registration. Selected speakers will be notified in late November or early December.

We seek presentations that address the following topics:

  • Managing SNF QRP, Five-Star, SNF VBP, iQIES reports, and Quality Measures
  • PDPM management (examples include what to look for from a consultant standpoint or interrupted stays)
  • ICD-10 (examples include a deep dive into complex coding or April 2025 updates)
  • Resident-centered care planning (examples include baseline care planning, interim care plans, or involving family in care planning)
  • Staff retention (examples include self-care and stress management, creating a culture of caring, or self-scheduling)
  • Survey compliance and best practices (examples include frequently cited F-Tags, facility assessment, or training staff)
  • Responding to medical reviews
  • Managing managed care
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Health literacy
  • MDS coding (examples include section GG, isolation, or supporting documentation best practices)
  • Skilled care management/case management (examples include skilled care documentation, beneficiary notices, or preventing readmissions)
  • Quality initiatives
  • Managing behaviors (examples include mental health support or managing substance abuse disorder)
  • Infection control (examples include EBP vs isolation or best practices)
  • Resident satisfaction surveys
  • Population health management
  • Restorative nursing program
  • Evidence-based best practices for topics such as staff retention, decreasing rehospitalizations, or policy development

Other topics appropriate for LTPAC professionals may be considered. We will offer attendees 75- and 90-minute breakout sessions (40 – 500 attendees, depending on the topic). Presentations should include 60 – 75 minutes of content and 15 minutes for Q&A. If your presentation is selected, we will confirm whether your session will be 75- or 90-minutes. Proposals should not include more than two presenters per session.

The deadline to submit is Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. The AAPACN conference session task force and content team review all submissions, and selected speakers will be notified in late November or early December.
