AAPACN 2020 Integrity Award Winner – Braylee Wynn, Presbyterian Manor

One of the highlights of the AAPACN annual conference each year is the recognition of the year’s award winners. With the 2020 conference now planned as a virtual conference in June, AAPACN will feature the 2020 winners in this blog series every week in April. Please join AAPACN in congratulating each of the AAPACN 2020 Award Winners!

AAPACN 2020 Integrity Award – Braylee Wynn

The Integrity Award recognizes a member whose actions and behaviors display the highest level of leadership and ethics. The winner of the AAPACN 2020 Integrity Award is Braylee Wynn!

Braylee is a CNA at Presbyterian Manor in Arkansas City, Kansas, working in both the Memory Care/Dementia Unit and Healthcare Department. A leader to the other CNAs, Braylee serves as a mentor to new staff as they learn more about the community and their job responsibilities. She is often among the first to volunteer for Performance Improvement Projects (PIP) or special community committees.

In her nomination of Braylee, Stacey Pike, Director of HR, wrote, “We can always rely on her to make the right decision and do what’s in the best interests of our residents. Braylee has the capability to handle emergencies and rise to stressful situations with a bright positive attitude. She has become a valuable part of our team. Braylee consistently goes over and beyond the normal call of duty with our residents.”
